XTide hints and tricks

This web server uses numerically indexed URLs to load prediction pages.  Those URLs look like this:


For convenience, you can also load a prediction page with a URL of the following form:


You will receive an error if the name-based lookup gives ambiguous results, but these URLs have the advantage that they do not need to change every time the tide data are updated.

If you would like an individual location's predictions on your own site, you may do this either with a direct link to the site's prediction page, or by enclosing the entire tide prediction page in a FRAME or IFRAME. Do not link directly to the tide graph or include it in a page of your own. If you present part of a page on your site, you are required to preserve the entire page, including the map, the table text, the Google ads, and all of the links to our other sites.
